Samvat Plugin Privacy

Last reviewed: 20 October 2026

Samvat is operated by SUPAMAKERS LIMITED. This policy explains how the ChatGPT plugin handles your information. No Samvat account or payment is needed.

Calendar requests

We use your selected place, timezone, date and calendar convention to calculate the information you ask for. We do not continuously track your location.

Birth details and PDFs

To calculate a chart, we process the birth date, exact time and birthplace you provide. Only share details you have permission to use. The plugin's birth-chart service is for people aged 13 or older; do not submit a younger child's details. They are not saved as a family profile, used for advertising or sent to Samvat's paid AI report service.

An encrypted chart reference lets you ask follow-up questions for one hour. We do not keep a chart database for this plugin. PDFs are created in the ChatGPT component or, when needed, through a private Samvat download page. Server-generated PDFs are created in memory and are not saved on the server.

Readings and questions

For Kundli readings, birth-tithi returns and personal horoscopes, we reuse your temporary chart reference to calculate relevant facts and traditional themes. A Moon-sign horoscope can instead use your known sidereal Moon sign and selected city, without birth details. Relationship comparisons require two adults' permission and temporary references. Ask Panditji sends only a selected topic to Samvat, not your free-form question. ChatGPT writes the interpretation in your conversation; we do not call a separate AI provider or store an AI report.

ChatGPT history

Expiry does not delete messages: your details, chart reference and results may remain in your ChatGPT conversation. OpenAI handles that history under your ChatGPT settings and its privacy terms. Use ChatGPT's controls to delete conversations and your device's controls to delete downloaded PDFs.

Measurement

We store aggregate service counts in Convex: the tool or PDF endpoint used, success or failure, response-time band, date, and preview, public or verification usage. These counts contain no questions, birth details, results, chart references, conversation identifiers, visitor IP addresses or browser details. A random identifier for each measurement prevents delivery retries from counting twice; it is not a user or conversation identifier. This integration uses no analytics cookies or browser tracking script. The same limited event fields and delivery status appear in our hosting logs. Convex receives our server's IP address. See Convex's privacy policy.

Our optional Plausible integration sends only the same limited service metrics and receives our server's IP address. It is currently disabled because its filtering does not reliably count server-to-server traffic. See Plausible's data policy.

Hosting and retention

Vercel hosts the service and processes technical information such as IP addresses, request times and status for delivery and security. Runtime request logs are available for one day on our current hosting plan; we have no external log drains. Vercel may separately retain security records under its privacy policy. Our application does not log request bodies or chart details.

Public calendar results occupy a cache of at most 256 entries in server memory; public transit intervals use a separate cache of at most 32 entries. They last until replaced or the server process ends and contain no birth charts or personal readings. Abuse-prevention counters use one-minute windows; expired counters are removed on the next request or when the process ends. Providers may process data outside the UK, subject to applicable transfer safeguards.

Aggregate counts expire after 400 days. Random delivery receipts expire after 48 hours; scheduled cleanup removes expired records. Historical Plausible counts remain subject to its subscription retention rules. Measurements contain no user identifiers, so we cannot link a count back to you. Where a client sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we skip optional service measurement. This does not disable necessary security logs or change ChatGPT history.

Support requests

Our support form sends your email address, topic and message through Resend to our private support mailbox so we can reply. It does not subscribe you to marketing. Please do not include birth details, chart references or sensitive information. Resend retains email content and delivery logs for 30 days under its standard service policy. We keep support correspondence while a request is open and for up to six months after closure, unless a legal obligation or dispute requires longer retention. You can request earlier deletion through the same form.

Your rights and contact

For privacy questions or data-rights requests, use the support form or write to the registered office listed on our Contact page.
